look at her little girl clothing designs right now! I am inspired!! Not to mention aching to have a little baby girl now! I am SO going to dress my girls like that. I want to go home and make something right now, oh I am so so so inspired, you are amazing Gyl!!

OK....I agree, these are some awesome fun designs.....but a word of advice from somebody who has been there. If you do have a little girl, make clothes for her and take pictures before she gets old enough to have an opinion about what she likes and dislikes. Once that magic moment occurs she will only wear what she likes....NOT what you want her to wear. Trust me......I know this as a truism!!! Good luck.......
anonymous - I know that will happen, but I figure even if they only look so super cute when they're little and then they start to look completely disheveled and mismatched, that's okay with me! I know I wanted things exactly my way, my mom was a hero for letting me go out in what I did sometimes!
Oh man. My little 3 1/2 yr old (in those photos) has her own, very strong, opinion of what she wears. What I do is work with her on what to make. She LOVE all the ruffles and twirlyness. My mom did that with us growing up. Made stuff for us, with our input. There are days though where she wants to wear the tutu and her red glittery shoes along with her parka to the store. And you know what, why not foster a sense of self!? lol!!
Kids are a treasure no matter how they dress! :)
