a sweet and sour day...
So I had a horrible day at work. just horrible. not my fault, but horrible none-the-less. But... I did manage to hold back tears until I was out of the building and in my car, alone.
But, instead of boring you with the lame parts of the day, I wanted to share with you a sweet surprise I found when I got home!
We live in a rental and our beautiful tree is growing apples!!! Our landlord had said it was an apple tree but it never really occurred to me that that meant it would grow apples, duh!
and so there you have it! Baby, growing apples that someday will be big and eatable! yay! I can already taste the hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I wish you all the same sweetness for your weekend! love ya!

yum! I'll be there for some pie! Sorry you had a crappy day at work, no fun! I'm excited to see all the new bags and stuff you've been working on, hopefully you got some sewing time in today, that's always good therapy after rotten days at work! Love ya!
i have two apple trees in our back yard and this year, for the first time, both trees have tons of apples; however, the squirrels have found them to be just as beautiful as i have...
oh bummer about your squirrels and your apples being buddies!! I hope ours still come out okay, haven't seen any squirrels around!
