pure yum

Yum. A single word says it all. Just a few days ago my sister and I made homemade marshmallows from the Mary Janes Farm Life Book. I had never made candy before so it was kind of a crazy process creating quite a mess in the kitchen and we weren't even sure if they were going to set right. But they did and we cut them up and covered them in powdered sugar and then I just looked at them in their little dish and thought. Woh. I just spent the afternoon making marshmallows that you can buy for a buck at the store! SO COOL!!! Needless to say we are amused by the simplest of things and just the idea that we could make our own marshmallows (not that we ever would again but still) was just awesome!! Then of course we proceeded to roast and eat them in the form of good ol' fashioned s'mores, fancied up a lil of course with the homemade touch and nutella we substituted in for the choc. chips!
