bowls, glorious bowls!

I LOVE BOWLS!! I was in my kitchen making rolls tonight and I was noticing my lovely sets of bowls. And then I counted the sets. I have FIVE different sets of beautiful bowls!!!

4 red bowls my honey and i bought when newly wed
8 cream colored bowls that match our dinner set from Pier One
6 Brown and Cream "SOUP" bowls with cute handles that I just couldn't resist from Thai Pan Trading
8 colorful ice cream bowls we got for Christmas from Jordan's sister
8 gorgeous colorful bowls with ridges down the sides from Anthropologie my honey got me for Christmas two years ago :)

And guess what? Every time I see a new set I like, I want it! What is it with beautiful bowls, I seem to want them all, if only I had a bigger kitchen I could have an entire cabinet devoted to beautiful bowls... now there's an idea!!

And it was fun!!!! I had so much fun at the Provo Farmer's Market!!!















That last one is lavender lemonade from the vendor right across from me, yum!
So basically I had a lot of fun, made some new friends, sold some fun stuff and I think I will most definitely be headed back again this next weekend!
I stayed up til 2am though the night before and now I am exhausted, so farewell for now, love you all!

a sneak peek......!!

This Saturday... yes, in two days, is the Provo Farmer's Market. It started last Saturday for the season. But this Saturday will be my first visit in the form of a booth all of my own... yay!!
I am SOOOO excited!! I have never done a fair or market like this, it is so exhilarating! I have been working my bum off all week, staying up late and then sleeping in and being late for work, crazzzy!
My honey and I went last week and bumped into the volunteer head guy and he said I should come, no commitment for the whole season until after I've tried it a few weeks, which is so fun!
Anyways, I know I have neglected you blogland, and so here I am to say hello, I am still alive, but busy as ever! Here is a sneak peek at what I will be bringing out this Saturday:

a sweet and sour day...

So I had a horrible day at work. just horrible. not my fault, but horrible none-the-less. But... I did manage to hold back tears until I was out of the building and in my car, alone.
But, instead of boring you with the lame parts of the day, I wanted to share with you a sweet surprise I found when I got home!
We live in a rental and our beautiful tree is growing apples!!! Our landlord had said it was an apple tree but it never really occurred to me that that meant it would grow apples, duh!



and so there you have it! Baby, growing apples that someday will be big and eatable! yay! I can already taste the hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I wish you all the same sweetness for your weekend! love ya!
