A huge sigh of relief...
Why? Because the diapers are done. They are done I say!!

Okay, well, maybe not all of them, but all of the mediums!! That must count for something. That is the size Mckinley is in right now and they are all done, and ready to wear! I just have to wash them and buy some inserts (microfiber towels at costco, cheap and super absorbent!!) and then we are ready to rock and roll...

Mckinley has been such a super helper getting them all done. Almost every day this week she has helped mama work on these bad boys. And let me tell you, she is one super duper little helper that's for sure!

And for all of those of you who are interested, which I know most of you aren't... (maybe just you megs, or maybe jes and mom too, and maybe yvonne and brittany, but that's probably it, oh maybe you too carolyn!) here are just a few detail shots of the diapers:

And, well... that is all! I am super happy with them although I have yet to actually use them as real diapers... I did use my sample one as a swim diaper the other day. But I am super excited anyways, and glad to be able to take a breather from sewing diapers. At least for a little while. When I get back from Alaska it is back to the diaper sewing grindstone so I can bust out my large ones too.
Oh, and I'll try and get a shot of Mckinley in them before we leave but I make no promises. She's taking a nap right now and we have so much to do before we go we may not be stopping back in blog land before we scoot. Take care everyone, love ya!!

Those are awesome!!!! I love that first picture with them all lined up on the chair, and little M looks so cute in all the piles of fabric! My babies always liked to sit in the middle of all the clean diapers fresh out of the laundry and throw them around, so fun!
I'm very impressed Kates, they're gorgeous!!!!
Interested...probably not. But impressed...TOTALLY. Those look awesome. You are amazing. Good work. Have a great trip!
