how do you escape?

I just got an email in my inbox from TodaysMama and it is all about escape, and how we, as moms, find escape.

Now the reason this email struck a chord with me today is my little one is having a crazy special day when it comes to nursing and napping. Yup, you know the kind, where nothing seems to go right and you pretty much feel like you're going to die no matter what the outcome of the day is... yeah, well such is life as a mum.

Anyways... here's the questions of their meme:

1. If you could escape to anywhere in the world where would it be? --Kenai Lake, Alaska
2. What song do you play when you are by yourself in the car? --the Oldies radio station, although I play that when I'm with others too. :)

If you had a night to yourself, and money was no object, what would you do? --I think I would go shopping by myself somewhere like IKEA and I would redecorate a room... or maybe I'd go shopping at a quilt store and buy fabulous and expensive fabric and then go home and make something new and fun... hmmm, that sounds very nice!
4. What is your guilty pleasure? --oreos and milk
5. What is the farthest place you have traveled away from your home? --Italy
6. Last book that you couldn't put down? --Princess Academy, I LOVE books written for young girls, yeah I know, random
7. When you want to escape into another time, what movie do you watch? The 60s
8. What is your favorite local escape? --the craft store, or the quilt store :)
9. How do you escape on a budget? --I go for a walk, buy an ice cream cone, make something crafty, actually last night I went to the grocery store after M was asleep by myself and it was a great escape!!
10. Best food you've ever had while on vacation. --hmmm, I love all food so I don't have a specific, maybe some sort of really good pizza.
