sunshine update

here's what we've been up to:

M can now play the piano and sing. (yes our daughter is very talented) actually it's the cutest thing, she really likes music, she bobs her head whenever music is played and whenever she plays this little toy piano she sings along, I love this girl!

video

I'm telling you... this girl loves her piano! She fell asleep with it in the car when we went garage sale-ing on Saturday and every time she flinched she would accidentally play a note, it was adorable!

we bought this TV cabinet for the living room for $10

and turned it into this:

So I was cleaning the other day, and it had been a long day, lots of Mckinley being grumpy (she had a cough last week) and so on... but anyhow, I was wearing a bandana that day and I came around the corner and spotted this in the mirror...

My bandana had gone all wonky, I am sure from M pulling on it, but who knows how long I walked around my house like this, it could have been all day! Man, it's a good thing I don't go out much! :)

Oh, and we got a washing machine this weekend. And as fate would have it it actually matches the random dryer we picked up a few weeks ago. So for 75$ we have a matching set about 4 or 5 years old, gotta love that!

Happy wednesday, I am off to make some plum jam for the winter, yummmmm.

loves.

OOh! I love to see before and after pics where people turn "junk" into wonderful things! Nice work on the media center!!

Your baby is growing so fast and is adorable as ever! You look like such a good momma. So, I'm thinking we still need to "do lunch". How's this Friday around 11:00? Just putting that out there on a whim we can finally catch up!
