blasts from the past...

Jes, Megs, Cartz, Mom, and Dad... These are for you... although I have no idea which of you will be as familiar with which ones!

:D

Huge smile on my face right now... I've been looking for some of these movies for years. Almost every video store I have ever gone into or called I have asked about the Child of Glass and Electric Grandmother. My favorite part in the latter is when she pours the breakfast drinks out of her fingers, so classic. Can I just say... "Tooom, Timothy, aaagatha... we are the electric grandmothers... and we are waiting for you" That movie just can't be beat!

Love you guys, hope you enjoyed these few minutes as much as I did!!

my favorite part of the electric grandmother was when they created her in the factory and got to pick out her voice and eye color and stuff... and then when she would plug herself in and rock in the basement. kind of creepy now that i think about it. and child of glass, we used to watch that all the time, but the clip is kind of creepy too... what kinds of movies did mom let us watch as kids? (i still love them all though!)

Scary!!!! I have to admit, these little video clips seriously inspired a little tinge of fear in me! It must still be programmed in from childhood! :) Good find!

Eep! Watcher in the woods haunted my entire childhood (ok, and adult life, too) ever since I watched it on my birthday sleepover party in 6th grade. I finally faced my fears and watched it again last year, and although it still made me jump a few times, the hokiness allowed me to laugh off the scary parts. Ah, sweet closure.
